Family spokesperson Shelby Gifford has said that the family is deeply disturbed by the allegations but not surprised.

Police are viewing Susan Powell's dissapearance as a missing persons case with suspicious and criminal overtones.

Susan's purse, keys and cell phone were found at the house.

Family does not believe Susan Powell would have left her sons and not contacted her family in Puyallup.

She said that though they do not have all the facts, they trust the West Valley police Department, which has 20 detectives on the case, to do all the right actions.

She further said that the famly is holding a press conference to provide information, discuss family reaction, keep the search in the public eye and to answer questions.

An account to help cover the costs of the search has been set up at the FAA Federal Credit Union to be administered by her father and brother-in-law.

Children are splitting time with their father and an aunt and uncle in Utah.

Family says Susan is an exceptional mother. Would not allow for a late night camping trip in cold weather.

Susan and Josh met at church after she graduated from high school and married nine months later.

Father says he cannot give up hope and believes Susan is alive.

Crimestoppers of Pierce County is offering a $1000 reward for information leading to charges.
